PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY
Edition, is amended in part only by the addition of a
new article, numbered and titled as follows:
ARTICLE V - Larceny-Dogs or Pets
Sec. 3-59. Dogs and Pets; Larceny
Every person who shall steal, entice, take or
carry away any dog or other pet, as defined in Section
3—1 of this Chapter, the property of another without
the owner's consent and with the intent to deprive the
owner permanently of his property in such dog or other
pet shall he guilty of the crime of larceny, and upon
conviction thereof shall be punished in the same
manner and to the same extent as if said dog or other
pet were the personal goods of the owner thereof, and
as hereinafter provided.
Sec. 3-60 Same; Penalty
Every person convicted of a violation of this
Article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and
shall be subject to a fine of from One ($1) to Five
Hundred Dollars ($500) and imprisonment from (1) to
ninety (90) days or both. Any such fine as collected
shall be remitted to the owner of such dog or other
pet.
SECTION III. And Be It Further Enacted that this
Act shall take effect forty-five (45) calendar days
from the date it becomes law.

Public Local Laws relating to benefit
performances by non-profit organizations to
modify limitations on prizes, to control fee
arrangements with carnival operators, to include
raffle authorization and to provide permit
regulations.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL FOR PRINCE
GEORGE'S COUNTY, that Section 50-4 of the Code of
