there shall be no charges levied on any member
transferring from Group B to E on or before July 1,
1970. Any Group E member who transfers to Group E
after July 1, 1970 in addition to paying the
contribution rate increase as of the effective date of
the transfer, shall also be required to pay into the
retirement system fund that amount of contributions
that he would have paid had he been a member of Group
E during the time he was a member of Group B plus
whatever interest payments that may be determined due
by the County Personnel Board.

(4)   Transfers from Group B, D, E to C.
Whenever a Group B, D or E member transfers to a
County position covered under Group A as a result of a
service-connected disability, he shall continue to pay
the contribution rate of the membership group from
which he transferred and he shall retain his normal
retirement date under such group, but he shall be
subject to the normal mandatory retirement date of the
group to which he transfers.

(5)  Transfers from Group D to Group E. A
Group D member may transfer to Group E on or before
October 1, 1972 and the retirement service credits he
has earned as a Group D member may be used for the
purpose of qualifying him for normal retirement at age
fifty-five (55) years, fifty-one (51) years of age
with thirty (30) years of creditable service or at
forty—six (46) years of age with twenty-five (25)
years of creditable service. Except for the
contribution rate increase as of the effective date of
the transfer there shall be no charges levied on any
member transferring from Group D to Group E on or
before July 1, 1970. No transfers shall be permitted
from Group D to Group E after October 1, 1972. Any
Group D member transferring to Group E between July 2,
1970 and September 30, 1972, shall pay retroactive to
July 1, 1970 the difference between the employee
contribution rate he paid and seven and one-half (7
1/2%) percent.

(6)   Transfers from Group D to A. Whenever
a Group D member transfers to a County position
covered under Group A he shall become a Group A member
as of the date of his transfer and his normal
retirement date shall be adjusted accordingly. There
shall be no return made of the difference in member
contributions, if any, while he was a Group D member.
