Section 35-2, title "area defined; annual levy;
treasurer's duties and bond; fire board," by
deleting subsections (a) and (b) as obsolete and
re-titling the Section "Fire Board"; to amend
Chapter 36, title "Hyattstown," of the Montgomery
County Code 1965, as amended, by repealing in its
entirety as obsolete Section 36—1, title "Area
defined," by repealing in its entirety as
obsolete Section 36-2, title "annual levy,
treasurer's duties; bond," by repealing in its
entirety as obsolete Section 36—3, title
"Submission of requests for funds; granting not
mandatory"; to amend Chapter 37, title
"Kensington," of the Montgomery County Code 1965,
as amended, by repealing in its entirety as
obsolete existing Section 37—1, title "Area
defined; annual levy; special levy under certain
conditions; treasurer's duties; bond," by
repealing and re-enacting, with amendments,
Section 37-2, title "Fire board," by
redesignating Section 37—2 as Section 37—1, by
correcting a reference citation, by providing
that any single purchase or contract made by or
on behalf of the Kensington Volunteer Fire
Department, Inc., involving an expenditure which
shall be made from or let by sealed bids or
proposals after public notice for a period and
manner determined by the Fire Board shall be
increased from five hundred dollars to one
thousand dollars, by deleting subsection (g) as
obsolete, and by redesignating subsection (h) as
(g) and subsection (i) as (h), by repealing and
re—enacting, with amendments, Section 37-3, title
"Fire area committee," by redesignating Section
37-3 as Section 37-2; to amend Chapter 38, title
"Laytonsville," of the Montgomery County Code
1965, as amended, by repealing in its entirety as
obsolete Section 38—1, title "Area defined," by
repealing in its entirety as obsolete Section
38—2, title "Annual levy; treasurer's duties,
bond, etc.," by repealing in its entirety as
obsolete Section 38—3, title "Submission of
requests for funds; granting not mandatory"; to
amend Chapter 39, title "Rockville," of the
Montgomery County Code 1965, as amended, by
repealing in its entirety as obsolete Section
39—1, title "Area defined," by repealing in its
entirety as obsolete Section 39—2, title "Annual
levy; treasurer's duties; bond," by repealing in
its entirety as obsolete Section 39—3, title
