Maryland Class "B" driver's license.
(95) Firefighter Captain
Graduation from recognized high school or
general equivalence test with a minimum requirement of
28 years of age. Must have successfully completed 10
years of paid firefighter service experience of which
2 years were served as a Howard County Fire Service
Lieutenant and must have successfully completed 30
semester hours in fire technology course work.
Special requirement: possession of Maryland Class "B"
driver's license.
(96) Custodian
Preferably some building cleaning
experience and sufficient education to be able to read
and write.
(97) Senior Custodian
Preferably some building cleaning
experience and sufficient education to read and write.
(A driver's license might be required.)
(98) Custodial Foreman
Completion of the eighth grade of school,
five (5) years of experience in custodial work,
preferably in school or public building; or any
equivalent combination of education and experience.
(99) CHIEF DEPUTY SHERIFF
GRADUATION FROM A RECOGNIZED HIGH SCHOOL OR
POSSESSION OF A HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY CERTIFICATE;
PLUS FIVE (5) YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN LAW ENFORCEMENT
OR CORRECTIONAL WORK AT THE LEVEL OF DEPUTY SHERIFF.
(100) DEPUTY SHERIFF
GRADUATION FROM A RECOGNIZED HIGH SCHOOL OR
POSSESSION OF A HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY CERTIFICATE.
MINIMUM AGE TWENTY-ONE (21) YEARS, MAXIMUM AGE
FORTY-FIVE (45) YEARS. POSSESSION OF OR ELIGIBILITY
FOR A MARYLAND MOTOR VEHICLE OPERATOR'S LICENSE.
