HOWARD COUNTY

This Bill, having been approved by the Executive and
returned to the Council, stands enacted on February
15, 1972.

COUNCIL BILL NO. 13

AN ACT to repeal and re—enact with amendments
subsection (b) to Section 14.503 of Title 14 of
the Howard County Code "Licenses, Permits and
Inspections" subtitle "Taxicabs" reducing the
minimum age of a taxicab driver from twenty—five
to [[twenty one]] eighteen.

Section 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL
OF HOWARD COUNTY, MARYLAND, That subsection (b) of
Section 14.503 of Title 14 of the Howard County Code
title "Licenses, Permits and Inspections," subtitle
"Taxicabs," be and is hereby repealed and re—enacted
with amendments to read as follows:

14.503

(b) No person under [twenty—five]
[[TWENTY-ONE]] EIGHTEEN years of age shall
operate a taxicab for which a permit shall have
been issued under this subtitle.

Section 2. AND, BE IT FURTHER ENACTED BY THE
COUNTY COUNCIL OF HOWARD COUNTY, MARYLAND, That this
Act take effect sixty (60) days after its enactment.

This Bill, having been vetoed by the Executive and
returned to the Council, stands enacted on April 10,
1972.
