ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL
OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Section 1-216.1
(a) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Adminstration", Subtitle 2,
"Personnel", Article II, "Classified Service", be, and
it is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

Section 1-216.1

(a) From and after July 1, 1967, the county
shall pay all in excess of one dollar and seventy—four
cents ($1.74) per month of the individual group
hospital cost for employees of the county who are
members of such group insurance program and at least
fifty per cent (50%) of the individual group surgical
plan cost for employees of the county who are members
of such group insurance program. AFTER NOVEMBER 30,
1972, THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBSECTION SHALL APPLY TO
EMPLOYEES PERMANENTLY AND TOTALLY DISABLED FROM
PERFORMING ANY AND ALL OCCUPATIONS, AND WHO HAVE BEEN
RETIRED FROM COUNTY SERVICE AS A CONSEQUENCE OF SUCH
DISABILITY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Ordinance shall take effect forty—five (45) days from
the date it becomes law.

AN ORDINANCE to repeal Section 15-707 of the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 15, "Public Works", Subtitle
7, "Roads and Sidewalks", and to enact new
Section 15—707 in lieu thereof, to stand in the
place of the Section repealed, to revise the
requirements and procedures for accepting private
roads into the County road system, and matters
generally related thereto.
