AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with amendments,
Sections 1-215 (a) (1), (b) (1), (c) (1) and (2),
(d) (3) and (e) (2) of the Anne Arundel County
Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 1
"Administration", Subtitle 2, "Personnel",
Article II, "Classified Service", respectively to
eliminate the class title of Purchasing
Technician and to establish the class title and
pay grade of Associate Buyer, to establish the
class title and pay grade of Parking Lot
Attendant, to eliminate the class title of Deputy
Purchasing Agent and to establish the class title
and pay grade of Assistant Purchasing Agent, to
establish the class title and pay grade of Senior
Buyer, to eliminate the class title of Police
Corporal, and to establish the class title and
pay grade of Assistant Chief, Right of Way
Section; and to repeal Sections 1—217 (a) (16)
and (91N) of said Code, Title, Subtitle and
Article, and to enact new Sections 1-217 (a) (16)
and (91N) in lieu thereof, to stand in the place
of the Sections repealed, to set forth the
qualifications for Assistant Purchasing Agent and
for Associate Buyer; and to add new Sections
1-217 (a) (29), (30), (910) and (148A) to said
Code, Title, Subtitle and Article, to follow
immediately after Sections 1-217 (a) (28A), (91N)
and (148) thereof, respectively, to set forth the
qualifications of Buyer, Senior Buyer, Assistant
Chief, Right—of—Way Section, and Parking Lot
Attendant; and matters generally related thereto.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL
OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Sections
1-215(a) (1), (b) (1), (c) (1) and (2), (d) (3) and
(e) (2) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition
and Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle
2, "Personnel", Article II, "Classified Service", be,
and they are hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
