and to the bi—weekly pay period next succeeding June
30, 1972.

APPROVED AND ENACTED: June 7, 1972.

Bill No. 65-72

AN ORDINANCE to repeal Section 1-216 of the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle
2, "Personnel", Article II, "Classified Service,"
and to enact new Section 1—216 in lieu thereof,
to stand in the place of the section so repealed,
increasing the compensation of certain County
employees.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL
OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Section 1-216
of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2,
"Personnel", Article II, "Classified Service," be, and
it is hereby repealed, and that new Section 1-216 be,
and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in
the place of the section so repealed, to read as
follows:

SECTION 1-216

(A) THE BELOW LISTED ANNUAL PAY SCHEDULE SHALL
BE APPLICABLE TO ALL CLASSES EXCEPT THOSE IN THE
CUSTODIAL, LABOR AND TRADES GROUP BELOW PAY GRADE 16

(PROVIDED THAT EMPLOYEES ASSIGNED TO SAID PAY SCHEDULE
SHALL RECEIVE AN INCREASE OF THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS

($300.00) IN ANNUAL COMPENSATION):
