structure is not made within [two years] ONE (1) YEAR
after water service shall become available to such
structure, the capital connection charge shall
increase at the rate of ten per cent thereof for each
year elapsing after the first until connection is
applied for; provided, such total increase shall not
exceed fifty per cent of the capital connection
charge.

Section 17-606. Wastewater connection charge.

(b) The user connection charge shall be imposed
with respect to every connection to the wastewater
system of the county, which charge shall be [one] TWO
hundred [fifty] SIXTEEN dollars ($216.00) in the
instance of single family dwelling units for
installation of a six—inch sewer pipe, with
appurtenances, from the wastewater main to the
property line. [In all other instances] IF LARGER
SIZE CONNECTIONS ABE NECESSARY, the user connection
charge shall be [one hundred fifty dollars, plus
twenty-five dollars for each inch by which the
diameter of the connecting sewer line exceeds six
inches] THE ACTUAL COST OF SUCH CONNECTION AS
DETERMINED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, BUT SUCH
CHARGE SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN THE MINIMUM CHARGE.

(d)   The capital connection charge for single
family dwelling units shall be [four] FIVE hundred
dollars ($500.00). For each structure or group of
structures containing more than one single family
dwelling unit, including apartment houses, rental
townhouses and mobile home parks containing spaces for
more than one mobile home, the capital connection
charge shall be two hundred forty dollars multiplied
by the number of such units or spaces.

(e)   The capital connection charge for properties
used for commercial or industrial purposes, including
motels and restaurants, shall be [four] FIVE hundred
dollars ($500.00) for each fourteen thousand five
hundred square feet of property, or fraction thereof,
so used.

(g) Except in the case of existing structures,
the wastewater connection charge shall be paid in full
at the time application for [service] CONNECTION is
made. With respect to existing single family dwelling
units, the user connection charge shall be paid in
full upon the date application for connection is made.
