southerly direction along the north side of 63rd Place to its intersection with
64th Avenue; thence, in a southerly direction along the east side of 64th
Avenue to its intersection with "G" Street; thence, in a northeasterly direction
along the north side of "G" Street to its intersection with Greig Street; thence,
in an easterly direction along the north side of Greig Street to its intersection
with George Palmer Highway; thence in a northeasterly direction along the
north side of George Palmer Highway to its intersection with the northerly town
boundary.

BE IT FURTHER ENACTED AND ORDAINED, that this Resolution is
adopted this 10th day of January, 1972, and shall take effect on the 29th day of
February, 1972.

A RESOLUTION of the Commissioners of Secretary adopted pursuant to the
authority of Article ME of the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of
Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume), title
"Corporations-Municipal," subtitle "Home Rule," to amend the Charter of the
Commissioners of Secretary by repealing Section 343 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Dorchester County (1961 Edition), and enacting new Section 343 in lieu
thereof to stand in the place and stead of the Section so repealed; providing for
the election of a Mayor and four Commissioners of the Town of Secretary; the
eligibility of voters and candidates; and the manner and time of elections.

SECTION 1. BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of Secretary that the
Charter of the Commissioners of Secretary, a municipal corporation of the State
of Maryland, be and the same is hereby amended by repealing Section 343 and
enacting new Section 343 in lieu thereof to stand in the place and stead of the
section so repealed, the same to read as follows:

SECTION 343: ON THE FIRST MONDAY OF MAY, 1972, AN
ELECTION SHALL BE HELD BETWEEN THE HOURS OF ONE AND
SEVEN O'CLOCK, P.M., FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING BY
BALLOT, TWO COMMISSIONERS OF SECRETARY, WHO SHALL
SERVE FOR A TERM OF TWO YEARS, AND ON THE FIRST MONDAY
OF MAY, 1973, AN ELECTION SHALL BE HELD BETWEEN THE HOURS
OF ONE AND SEVEN O'CLOCK P.M. FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTION
BY BALLOT, TWO COMMISSIONERS OF SECRETARY, WHO SHALL
SERVE FOR A TERM OF TWO YEARS. ON THE FIRST MONDAY OF
MAY, 1972, AN ELECTION SHALL BE HELD BETWEEN THE HOURS OF
ONE AND SEVEN O'CLOCK, P.M., FOR THE PURPOSE OF ELECTING
BY BALLOT, A MAYOR OF SECRETARY, WHO SHALL SERVE FOR A
TERM OF FOUR YEARS. ALL SHALL SERVE THEREAFTER UNTIL
THEIR SUCCESSORS ARE ELECTED AND QUALIFIED. A PERSON
DESIRING TO BE A CANDIDATE FOR MAYOR OR COMMISSIONER
SHALL, AT LEAST FIFTEEN DAYS BEFORE ELECTION, FILE WITH
THE COMMISSIONERS A CERTIFICATE OF HIS CANDIDACY. THE
COMMISSIONERS SHALL NOT ACCEPT ANY CERTIFICATE OF
CANDIDACY UNLESS THE CANDIDATE IS A QUALIFIED VOTER IN,
