CHARTER AMENDMENT NO. 46-72-3

RESOLUTION of The Commissioners of Cambridge adopted pursuant to the
authority of Article 11E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as Amended), titled
"Corporation - Municipal", to amend the Charter of The Commissioners of
Cambridge by repealing and re-enacting, with amendments, Section 34, titled
"Qualifications of Voters," of the Code of Public Local Laws of Dorchester
County (1961 Edition), said Code being Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Dorchester County" subtitle "Cambridge," repealing
certain obsolete material and inserting new material pertaining to qualifications of
voters.

SECTION 1. BE IT RESOLVED by The Commissioners of Cambridge that
the Charter of said Municipal Corporation, be, and the same is hereby amended by
repealing and re-enacting said Section 34 to read as follows:

34. QUALIFICATIONS OF VOTERS.

The inhabitants of said City, who at the date of any municipal election therein
are respectively [twenty-one] EIGHTEEN years of age, and [have been] ARE
bona fide residents of the town [for one year] and of the ward wherein they
severally propose to vote [for two months next preceding such election,] and who
are registered as hereinbefore provided, shall possess qualifications of voters in
such ward and shall be entitled to vote at any election for Commissioners and
other officers, or at any other municipal election therein.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall become effective
May 10, 1972.

ORDAINED AND PASSED by The Commissioners of Cambridge March 27,
1972.
