A FINANCIAL STATEMENT REQUIRED TO BE FILED BY THIS
SUBTITLE SHALL SET FORTH IN DETAIL ALL ASSETS AND
LIABILITIES IN OR WITH RESPECT TO WHICH THE PERSON FILING
THE STATEMENT, HIS SPOUSE OR DEPENDENT CHILDREN HAS A
LEGAL OR EQUITABLE INTEREST.

FAILURE TO FILE ANY STATEMENT REQUIRED BY THIS
SUBTITLE SHALL BE A MISDEMEANOR, PUNISHABLE UPON
CONVICTION BY A FINE NOT EXCEEDING ONE THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($1,000.00), OR IMPRISONMENT OF NOT MORE THAN SIX
(6) MONTHS, OR BOTH. [[ANY REAL ESTATE INTEREST NOT
DISCLOSED AS REQUIRED BY THIS SUBTITLE SHALL NOT BE
ENFORCEABLE BY THE OFFICIAL AGAINST A CO-OWNER OR A
THIRD PARTY.]]
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT IF ANY
PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT OR THE APPLICATION THEREOF TO ANY
PERSON OR CIRCUMSTANCE IS HELD INVALID FOR ANY REASON,
SUCH INVALIDITY SHALL NOT AFFECT THE OTHER PROVISIONS
OR ANY OTHER APPLICATION OF THIS ACT WHICH CAN BE GIVEN
EFFECT WITHOUT THE INVALID PROVISIONS OR APPLICATION,
AND TO THIS END, ALL THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT ARE
HEREBY DECLARED TO BE SEVERABLE.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

(Senate Joint Resolution 7)
Senate Joint Resolution to adopt a plan presented by the Governor setting forth
the boundaries of the legislative districts for electing of the members of the
Senate and the House of Delegates, pursuant to Article III, Section 5 of the
Constitution of Maryland, to repeal Sections 46, 46A, 46B, 46C, 47, 47A, 47B
and 47C of Article 40 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement
Volume), title "General Assembly," subtitles "Subdistricts for the Senate," and
"Subdistricts for the House of Delegates," and to enact new Sections 46, 47,
47A, 47B and 47C in lieu thereof, to be under the new subtitle "Legislative
Districting Plan of 1973"; to provide for dividing the State into Legislative
Districts and sub-districts for the election of members of the Senate of
Maryland and of the House of Delegates of Maryland; providing that one
Senator and three Delegates shall be elected from each Legislative District;
providing that the legislative districting plan contained herein shall, for purposes
of elections, be applicable to elections for members of the General Assembly
