[(d)] (e) It is unlawful for any person to practice veterinary medicine unless
his license and annual registration are displayed in his regularly established office
or place of practice.

157.

Any person violating the provisions of this subtitle or any of the rules and
regulations adopted by the Board pursuant to this subtitle, shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, be fined fifty dollars or imprisoned for
not more than thirty days or both, for the first offense and not less than one
hundred dollars nor more than five hundred dollars or imprisoned for not more
than ninety days or both for the second and each succeeding offense. [It shall be
the responsibility of the State's attorney in whatever jurisdiction offenses occur to
prosecute all such offenses under this subtitle.]

CHAPTER 818
(House Bill 944)

AN ACT to add new Section 10F to Article 25 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume and 1971 Supplement), title "County
Commissioners," subtitle "General Provisions," to follow immediately after
Section 10E thereof, to provide that the Talbot County Commissioners may
require the Talbot County sheriff and deputy sheriffs to wear the uniforms and
equipment as they prescribe and that the Commissioners may either issue the
uniforms and equipment or reimburse the sheriff and deputy sheriffs for the
acquisition of uniforms and equipment; and to authorize the County
Commissioners to require the sheriff and the deputy sheriffs to wear the
uniforms and equipment at certain times.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 10F be and it is hereby added to Article 25 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume and 1971
Supplement), title "County Commissioners," subtitle "General Provisions," to
follow immediately after Section 10E thereof, and to read as follows:

10F.

(A)    THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF TALBOT COUNTY, IN
ADDITION TO, BUT NOT IN SUBSTITUTION FOR, THE POWERS
WHICH MAY HAVE BEEN OR MAY HEREAFTER BE GRANTED THEM,
MAY REQUIRE THE SHERIFF AND DEPUTY SHERIFFS OF TALBOT
COUNTY TO WEAR THE UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT WHICH THE
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PRESCRIBE. THE COMMISSIONERS MAY
EITHER ISSUE THE REQUIRED UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT OR
REIMBURSE THE SHERIFF AND DEPUTY SHERIFFS FOR ALL
EXPENSES INCURRED IN ACQUIRING THEM.

(B)   THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MAY ALSO REQUIRE THE
SHERIFF AND DEPUTY SHERIFFS TO WEAR THE UNIFORMS AND
EQUIPMENT AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON DUTY OR PERFORMING AN
