[(a) Nothing contained in § 492 of this article shall be construed to prohibit or
make unlawful in Harford County the playing of the games of baseball, golf,
tennis, basketball, soccer, football, bowling or hockey on Sunday, whether played
for recreation or whether admission to said games be charged. In the event
admission fees are charged no such sporting event shall be conducted on Sunday
prior to the hour of 1:00 o'clock p.m.

(b) Nothing contained in § 492 of this article shall be construed to prohibit or
make unlawful in Harford County on Sunday the operation of a swimming pool or
beach, a roller or ice skating rink or the exhibition of motion pictures; provided
that no such operations shall be conducted prior to the hour of 1:00 o'clock p.m.
on Sunday. The work or employment of the operator of such activities or of his
agents pursuant to the terms of this section shall not be unlawful because of
performance on Sunday.]

521(h).

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the provisions of this section shall
not apply to Baltimore County [.] OR HARFORD COUNTY.

522.

It shall not be lawful to keep open or use any dancing saloon, opera house,
tenpin alley, [barbor] BARBER saloon or ball alley within this State on the
Sabbath day, commonly called Sunday; and any person or persons, or body politic
or corporate, who shall violate any provision of this section, or cause or knowingly
permit the same to be violated by a person or persons in his, her or its employ
shall be liable to indictment in any court of this State having criminal jurisdiction,
and upon conviction thereof shall be fined a sum not less than fifty dollars nor
more than one hundred dollars, in the discretion of the court, for the first offense;
and if convicted a second time for a violation of this section, the person or persons
or body politic or corporate shall be fined a sum not less than one hundred nor
more than five hundred dollars; and if a natural person shall be imprisoned, not
less than ten nor more than thirty days in the discretion of the court; and in the
case of any conviction or convictions under this section subsequent to the second,
such person or persons, body politic or corporate shall be fined on each occasion a
sum of at least double that imposed upon him, her, them or it on the last
preceding conviction; and if a natural person, shall be imprisoned not less than
thirty nor more than sixty days in the discretion of the court; all fines to be
imposed under this section shall be paid to the State. Notwithstanding anything to
the contrary the provisions of this sections shall not apply:

(1)  To Baltimore County, HARFORD COUNTY, Prince George's County, or
Montgomery County, or

(2)  To any person who conscientiously believes that the seventh day of the week
ought to be observed as the Sabbath and who actually refrains from secular
business and labor on that day, and whose business establishment or establishments
or employer's business establishment or establishments (whether a sole
proprietorship, partnership or corporation) are actually closed on that day; or

(3)   To any person who conscientiously believes that the Sabbath begins at
sundown on Friday night and ends at sundown on Saturday night and who actually
refrains from secular business and labor during such period, and whose business
establishment or establishments or employer's business establishment or
establishments (whether a sole proprietorship, partnership or corporation) are
actually closed during such period.
