hospital or person rendering such services; but the policy may not require that the
service be rendered by a particular hospital or person. Payment so made shall
discharge the insurer's obligation with respect to the amount of insurance so paid.
SECTION 25. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections 3 and 6(b)
of Article 51 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume),
title "Juries," be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

The names of prospective jurors shall be selected from persons [21 ] 18 years of
age or over whose names appear on the voter registration lists for State elections
and from such additional sources as may be prescribed in the plan adopted
pursuant to Section 4. Volunteers for jury service shall be refused, and
recommendations, if made, shall not be accepted.

(b) In making such determination the jury judge shall deem any person qualified
to serve on grand or petit juries unless he-
(i) Is not constitutionally qualified to vote in this State in the county wherein
the court convenes or Baltimore City if the court convenes therein, or;
(ii) Is unable to read, write, or understand the English language with a degree
of proficiency sufficient to fill out satisfactorily the juror qualification form, or;
(iii) Is unable to speak the English language or comprehend spoken English,
or;
(iv) Is incapable, by reason of physical or mental infirmity, to render
satisfactory jury service, provided that any person claiming such a disqualification
may be required to submit a doctor's certificate to that effect; or
(v) Has a charge pending against him for a crime punishable by a fine of
$500.00 or more, or by imprisonment for more than six months, or both, or has
been convicted of such a crime and has received a sentence of a fine of $500.00 or
more, or of imprisonment for more than six months, or both, and has not been
legally pardoned.
(vi) Has a charge pending against him for, or has been convicted of, an
offense punishable under the provision of Section 5(b) of this article; or
(vii) Is a party in a civil suit pending in the court in which he is called to
serve;
(viii) Is under [21] 18 years of age.
(ix) Fails to meet any other objective test prescribed by the Court of Appeals
with the assistance of the rules committee.
SECTION 26. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections 33, 217(b)
and 273 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1972 Replacement
Volume and 1972 Supplement), title "Licenses," subtitles "Traders," "Real Estate
Brokers," and "Landscape Architects," respectively, be and they are hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
