Ch. 651                              MARVIN MANDEL, Governor                                1321

Dominion of Canada and recognized by the Board as requiring adequate
preprofessional collegiate training and as maintaining an acceptable course of
dental instruction, may make application in writing to said Board to be examined
by it with reference to his or her qualifications to practice dentistry, and upon his
or her passing an examination satisfactory to said Board, which examination shall
be in writing so far as said Board shall deem practicable, the Board shall cause the
name and residence of such person to be registered in a book kept by it for that
purpose, and shall issue to such person a certificate of registration as evidence of
his or her eligibility to practice dentistry, signed by the officers of the Board and
sealed with its official seal, which certificate shall also state the name of the person
to whom issued, and the date of such issuance.

SECTION 17. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 24(a) of
Article 36 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume), title
"Fees of Officers," subtitle "Registers of Wills," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

24.

(a) Fees. The various registers of wills in the State shall be entitled to charge
and collect for the performance of their duties the fees hereinafter specified, as
follows:

(1)    For taking probate of wills,
entering the names, all necessary oaths includ-
ing and granting letters testamentary taking,
filing and recording bond, issuing warrant to
appraisers and administering the necessary oaths
to the person or persons to whom such letter
may be granted, including all seals to letters
and warrants to appraise.........................$7.50

(2)    For entering on estate
docket, all papers filed in estates, so that
the docket will show a complete list of all
incidents connected with the administration of
estates........................................... 3.50

(3)    For filing surviving spouse's

election to take an intestate share and for filing
renunciation of heirs or legatees, personal repre-
sentatives, guardians, trustees, etc.............75

(4)    For furnishing certificate

of letters, with seal.............................75

(5)    For affixing seal of office
to any transcript or other paper, if

expressly required by law or any person.......... 1.00

(6)    For affixing seal of office to

any certificate, transcript or other paper exem-
plified under the Act of Congress................ 2.00

(7)    For passing and entering every

claim or voucher against a deceased person's estate,
and endorsing certificate thereof, on every such
claim or voucher when passed by the court or regis-
