CHAPTER 613
(House Bill 1194)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 3(y) of Article 25 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume), title "County
Commissioners," subtitle "General Provisions," to permit Worcester County to
make agreements with government agencies in functions of government; to
accept Federal and State gifts and grants, and to expend them for lawful
purposes.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That Section 3(y) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1966 Replacement Volume), title "County Commissioners," subtitle
"General Provisions," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

3(y.)

To make agreements with municipalities, counties, districts, bureaus,
commissions, and governmental authorities for the joint performance of or for
cooperation in the performance of any governmental functions. To accept gifts and
grants of Federal or of State funds from the Federal or State governments or any
agency thereof, and to expend the same for any lawful purpose, agreeably to the
conditions under which the gifts or grants were made. This subsection shall be
applicable in Washington County AND WORCESTER COUNTY and the
County Commissioners shall have the powers provided herein.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

CHAPTER 614

(House Bill 1209)

AN ACT to add new Section 10-110 to Article 66-1/2 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1972 Supplement), title "Vehicle
Laws," subtitle "10. Accidents and Accident Reports," to follow immediately
after Section 10-109 thereof, to relieve persons from filing certain accident
reports with the Motor Vehicle Administration if the accident has been
investigated by the police and there is on file with the Maryland State Police a
copy of said report.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 10-110 be and it is hereby added to Article
66-1/2 of the' Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1972
Supplement), title "Vehicle Laws," subtitle "10. Accidents and Accident Reports,"
to follow immediately after Section 10-109 thereof, and to read as follows:

10-110.

WHENEVER A PERSON HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT
WITHIN THIS STATE WHICH WOULD REQUIRE SAID PERSON TO
FILE A REPORT TO THE ADMINISTRATION AS PROVIDED IN 8
