PSYCHOLOGICAL, or optometric care until such proposed change has been
submitted to, and approved by, the Insurance Commissioner. Upon the adoption of
any such amendment or change, following its approval by the Insurance
Commissioner, such corporation shall file a copy thereof with the Insurance
Commissioner, duly certified to by at least two (2) of the executive officers of such
corporation.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 439X of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Carroll County (1965 Edition, being Article 7 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland,) title "Carroll County," subtitle "Carroll
County Sanitary Commission," as added, by Chapter 754 of the Acts of 1967;
to delete obsolete language and to provide for jurisdiction of certain offenses by
the District Court.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 439X of the Code of Public Local Laws of Carroll
County (1965 Edition, being Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Carroll County," subtitle "Carroll County Sanitary
Commission," as added by Chapter 754 of the Acts of 1967 be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
439X.
Every act or omission designated as a misdemeanor in this subtitle unless
otherwise provided, shall be punishable by any (trial magistrate or the Circuit
Court for Carroll County] DISTRICT COURT, and the offender upon
conviction, is subject to a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100.00) or to
confinement in the county jail for not more than thirty (30) days, or both in the
discretion of the [magistrate or Circuit Court] DISTRICT COURT. If the act or
omission is of a continuing nature and is persisted in, in violation of the provisions
of this subtitle or of any rule or regulation formulated thereunder, a conviction for
one offense shall not be a bar to the conviction for a continuation of such offense
subsequent to the first or any succeeding conviction.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1973.
