form having a capacity of seven thousand and fifty-six cubic inches
shall be a standard barrel. The standard barrel for cranberries
shall be of the following dimension when measured without disten-
tion of its parts: Length of staves, twenty-eight and one-half inches;
diameter of heads, sixteen and one-fourth inches; distance between
heads, twenty-five and one-fourth inches; circumference of bulge,
fifty-eight and one-half inches, outside measurement; and the thick-
ness of staves not greater than four-tenths of an inch.

(2) Third, half or three-quarters barrels.—It shall be unlawful
for any person to offer or expose for sale, sell, or ship any other
barrels for fruits, vegetables, or other dry commodities or to offer
or expose for sale, sell or ship any fruits, vegetables, or other dry
commodities in other barrels than the standard barrels as defined
in this section, or subdivisions thereof known as the third, half, or
three-quarters barrels. Provided, however, that nothing in this sec-
tion shall apply to barrels used in packing or shipping commodities
sold exclusively by weight or numerical count; provided further,
that no barrel shall be deemed below standard within the meaning
of this section when shipped to any foreign country and constructed
according to the specifications or directions of the foreign purchaser
if not constructed in conflict with the laws of the foreign country to
which the same is intended to be shipped.]

Bulk deliveries sold in terms of weight and delivered by vehicle.

When a vehicle delivers to an individual purchaser a commodity
in bulk, and the commodity is sold in terms of weight units, the
delivery shall be accompanied by a serially numbered and duplicate
delivery ticket with the following information clearly stated, in
ink or by means of other indelible marking equipment and, in clarity,
equal to type or printing, (a) the date of issuance, (b) the name
and address of the vendor, (c) the name and address of the pur-
chaser, (d) the net weight of delivery expressed in pounds, (e) the
complete identification of the commodity to include kind and size
in the case of solid fuel and aggregate, (f) the complete signature
and, if appropriate, the weighmaster license number of the person
determining the quantity and issuing the delivery ticket, and (g)
the license number or other established identification numbers on
the vehicle carrying the commodity. One of these tickets shall be
retained by the vendor for a period of 90 days, and the other shall
be delivered to the purchaser at the time of delivery of the com-
modity, or shall be surrendered, on demand, to the Superintendent
or any inspector, or the sealer or any deputy sealer, who, if he
desires to retain as evidence, shall issue a weight slip in lieu thereof
for delivery to the purchaser. If the net weight is derived from
determinations of gross and tare weights, such gross and tare
weights also shall be stated in terms of pounds. Every driver or
person in charge of a vehicle subject to the requirements of this
section, shall at all times have in his possession delivery tickets and
shall present them for inspection to the Superintendent or any
inspector, a sealer or any deputy sealer, or to any police officer upon
request and shall present them to the purchaser before unloading
or attempting to unload the vehicle. Any person transporting or
delivering bulk commodities except as provided for in this section
shall be deemed guilty of a violation of the provisions of this section,
and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more
