TO FOLLOW IMMEDIATELY AFTER SECTION 74 (G)
THEREOF, to require that in Baltimore City proof of payment
of certain taxes be presented before transfer of a license is made.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new subsection (h) be and it is hereby added to Section 74 of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement
Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Rights and Duties
of Licensees," to follow immediately after Section 74 (g) thereof,
and to read as follows:

74.

(h) In Baltimore City no transfer of any license may be made as
authorized in subsection (a) of this section unless there is presented
to the board, a receipt or certificate from the Director of Finance
showing there are no unpaid taxes on the merchandise, fixtures and
stock of the transferor due to the City of Baltimore or the State of
Maryland.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

CHAPTER 205
(Senate Bill 312)

AN ACT to repeal Section 471 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Harford County (1965 Edition, being Article 13 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Harford County," sub-
title "Roads and Public Works," and to enact new Section 471 in
lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the section repealed; to add
new Section 471A to the same Code, title and subtitle to follow
immediately after Section 471 thereof; and to repeal and re-
enact, with amendments, Section 474(a) of the same Code, title
and subtitle, as last amended by Chapter 57 of the Acts of 1966;
to establish in Harford County a Division of Waste Disposal
within the Department of Public Works; to authorize the Harford
County Commissioners to enact ordinances to prevent certain
nuisance conditions; to add the duty and power of administering
the Division of Waste Disposal to those possessed by the Director
of Public Works; and to generally relate to the Division of Waste
Disposal in Harford County.
