the creditor before a notary public [or a justice of the peace] of this
State, or before any officer of any other state or country where he
may be at the time haying authority to administer an oath therein
and certified as aforesaid to be just and true, and that he hath not,
directly or indirectly, received to his knowledge any part or parcel of
the money or goods charged as due by such account or any security
or satisfaction for the same more than credit shall be given for, shall
be received as good evidence in any court [or before any justice of the
peace] of this State, unless the debtor or defendant shall make it ap-
pear by lawful evidence that such account is false in part or in whole.
§ 77. Copies of books, etc., in office of State Tax Commission.
A copy of any books, papers, entries or proceedings belonging to the
office of the State Tax Commission, attested by the State Tax Com-
mission, shall be received as evidence in any court of law or equity, or
before any judge, [justice of the peace] or other tribunal in this
State, in the same manner and to have the same effect as if the
original books, papers, entries or proceedings were themselves pro-
duced.
§ 78. Copies of books, etc., in office of State Roads Commission.
A copy of any books, papers, entries, records or proceedings per-
taining to the office of the State Roads Commission HIGHWAY AD-
MINISTRATION, when certified to by the secretary of the State
Roads Commission HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION, shall be re-
ceived as evidence in any court of law or equity, or before any judge,
[justice of the peace,] or other tribunal in this State, in the same
manner and to have the same effect as if the original books,
papers, entries, records, or proceedings were themselves produced.
§ 79. Copies of books, etc., pertaining to State Department of
Health or State Board of Health.
A copy or photostat of any books, papers, entries, records or pro-
ceedings pertaining to the State Department of Health or the State
Board of Health, when certified to by the Director of Health and the
secretary of the State Board of Health as being correct, shall be re-
ceived as evidence in any court of law or equity, or before any judge,
[justice of the peace,] or other tribunal in this State, or before any
board, commission or agency of this State, in the same manner and
to the same effect as if the original books, papers, entries, records or
proceedings were themselves produced.
§ 80. Certified copies of records, etc., of Workmen's Compensation
Commission admissible as originals; appearance in re-
sponse to subpoena duces tecum to Commission chairman,
members or secretary.
(a) A copy or photostat of any books, papers, entries, records or
proceedings pertaining to the Workmen's Compensation Commission,
when certified to by the secretary of the Workmen's Compensation
Commission or by the chairman or any member of the Commission
as being correct, shall be received as evidence in any court of law or
equity or before any judge, [justice of the peace,] or other tribunal in
this State, in the same manner and to have the same effect as if the
original books, papers, entries, records or proceedings were themselves
produced.
