vision of this section who at the time of said conviction is the holder
of a license for hunting any wild bird or animal under the provisions
of Article 66C, shall have his license revoked immediately upon con-
viction for a period of one year. Any person who is not the holder of
such a license shall not be issued a license until one year after any
conviction under the provisions of this section.

§ 577. Wanton trespass upon private land or vessel; legislation by
Baltimore City prohibiting denial or accommodations,
etc., by public places.

Any person or persons who shall enter upon or cross over the land,
premises or private property, including boarding any boat or other
marine vessel, of any person or persons in this State after having been
duly notified by the owner or his agent not to do so shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof [before some jus-
tice of the peace] in the county where such trespass may have been
committed be fined [by said justice of the peace] not less than one, nor
more than one hundred dollars, and shall stand committed to the jail
of the county pursuant to the provisions of Article 38, § 4. [until such
fine and costs are paid, provided, however, that the person or persons
so convicted shall have the right to appeal from the judgment of said
justice of the peace to the circuit court for the county where such
trespass was committed, at any time within ten days after such
judgment was rendered]; [and,] provided[, further], that nothing
in this section shall be construed to include within its provisions the
entry upon or crossing over any land when such entry or crossing is
done under a bona fide claim or right of ownership of said land, it
being the intention of this section only to prohibit any wanton
trespass upon the private land of others. Provided, however, that
nothing contained herein shall preclude the mayor and city council
of Baltimore from enacting legislation making it unlawful or prohibi-
tory to refuse, withhold from or deny to any person because of his
race, creed, color or national origin any accommodations, advantages,
facilities or privileges of any place or places whose facilities, accom-
modations, services, commodities or use are offered to or enjoyed by
the general public, either with or without charge.

§ 579. Trespassing upon lands controlled by State Game and Inland
Fish Commission.

In order to protect the State of Maryland in its propagation of game
and fish, it shall be unlawful for any person to enter or trespass in any
manner, unauthorized, on any land or waters owned or controlled by
the State for the use of the [Game Department or Fish Department]
Game and Inland Fish Commission, or lands which have been ac-
quired as game preserves or refuges, or for fish ponds or hatcheries,
and it shall be unlawful to destroy or deface or damage in any man-
ner such properties. Any person violating the provisions of this section
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction [before any
justice of the peace,] shall be fined the sum of one hundred dollars
($100.00).

§ 581. Persons deemed tramps; penalty; Allegany County ex-
cepted.

Every person, not insane, who wanders about in this State and
lodges in market houses, market places, or in other public buildings,
