(C) THE SAID AIRPORT ZONING BOARD IS HEREBY AU-
THORIZED TO APPOINT AN EXECUTIVE SECRETARY OF
SAID BOARD AND SUCH OTHER ASSISTANTS AND EM-
PLOYEES AS MAY BE NECESSARY FOR THE PROPER PER-
FORMANCE OF THE DUTIES AND BUSINESS OF SAID AIR-
PORT ZONING BOARD, INCLUDING THE ADMINISTRATION
AND ENFORCEMENT OF ANY AND ALL RULES AND REGU-
LATIONS OF SAID AIRPORT ZONING BOARD, AND ALL OF
SAID APPOINTMENTS SHALL BE MADE PURSUANT TO THE
LAWS, RULES AND REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO OR IS-
SUED BY THE SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION. THE
SAID EXECUTIVE SECRETARY AND ALL OTHER ASSIST-
ANTS AND EMPLOYEES SHALL RECEIVE SUCH COMPEN-
SATION AS MAY BE AUTHORIZED FOR SUCH PURPOSE BY
THE SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION. THE [AUTHOR-
ITY] STATE AVIATION ADMINISTRATION SHALL FUR-
NISH ADEQUATE OFFICE SPACE FOR THE PROPER FUNC-
TIONING OF SAID AIRPORT ZONING BOARD.
(E) NO AIRPORT ZONING DISTRICT OR AIRPORT ZON-
ING REGULATION OR RESTRICTION SHALL APPLY TO ANY
PROPERTY LOCATED MORE THAN THREE (3) MILES
BEYOND THE OUTER PERIMETER OF ANY PARTICULAR
AIRPORT [AND NO AIRPORT ZONING DISTRICT OR AIR-
PORT ZONING REGULATION OR RESTRICTION SHALL
APPLY TO ANY PROPERTY UNTIL AND AFTER THE
MARYLAND AIRPORT AUTHORITY OR FRIENDSHIP IN-
TERNATIONAL AIRPORT AUTHORITY HAS ACQUIRED THE
PROPERTY FOR THE PARTICULAR AIRPORT AND THE
LAYOUT OF SUCH AIRPORT HAS BEEN DETERMINED].
(F) (3) THE CHAIRMAN AND ALL OTHER MEMBERS OF
SAID AIRPORT ZONING COMMISSION SHALL RECEIVE SUCH
COMPENSATION AS MAY BE AUTHORIZED FOR SUCH
PURPOSE [OF] BY THE SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTA-
TION.
(4) THE SAID AIRPORT ZONING COMMISSION IS HERE-
BY AUTHORIZED TO APPOINT A SECRETARY OF SAID
COMMISSION AND SUCH OTHER ASSISTANTS AND EM-
PLOYEES AS MAY BE NECESSARY FOR THE PROPER PER-
FORMANCE OF THE DUTIES AND BUSINESS OF SAID AIR-
PORT ZONING COMMISSION AND ALL SAID APPOINT-
MENTS SHALL BE MADE PURSUANT TO THE LAWS, RULES
AND REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO OR ISSUED BY THE
SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION. THE SAID SECRETARY
AND ALL OTHER ASSISTANTS AND EMPLOYEES SHALL
RECEIVE SUCH COMPENSATION AS MAY BE AUTHORIZED
BY THE SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION. THE [AU-
THORITY] STATE AVIATION ADMINISTRATION SHALL
FURNISH ADEQUATE OFFICE SPACE FOR THE PROPER
FUNCTIONING OF SAID AIRPORT ZONING COMMISSION.
(H) THE AIRPORT ZONING BOARD SHALL NOT ESTAB-
LISH THE BOUNDARIES OF ANY ORIGINAL AIRPORT ZON-
ING DISTRICT OR DISTRICTS OR ADOPT ANY ORIGINAL
AIRPORT ZONING REGULATIONS TO BE ENFORCED
THEREIN UNTIL AND AFTER THE BOUNDARIES OF ANY
