wharf at the United States lighthouse depot (Old Fort Madison); and
thence to a straight line southeasterly to the place of beginning. All bear-
ings are referred to the true meridian at the origin of coordinates.

PROVIDED, FURTHER, that Section 1-1, Seventh Ward, be and it is
hereby amended to read as follows:

SEVENTH WARD. That portion of the area within the heretofore
described revised boundary of the City of Annapolis west of the described
lines of the Sixth Ward and South of a line beginning at the intersection
of the City boundary prior to January 1, 1951, and West Street (corner of
National Cemetery); thence following West Street to Admiral Drive to the
Old Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis Electric Railroad Company
right-of-way to the heretofore described Annapolis City Boundary.

Annexation of the Menke and Overs Properties

RESOLVED that the following areas, adjacent to the southern bound-
aries of the Corporation of Barnesville, Maryland be annexed to the town:

1—The property of George V. and Dorothy G. Menke, approximately
26 Acres, lying on the western side of Md. Rte. #109;

2—Two one-acre lots, on the eastern side of Rte. #109, formerly the
property of James H. Overs, and currently being purchased by George V.
and Dorothy G. Menke.

The new boundaries of the Town in that area will be as follows:

Beginning at the northwest boundary of Barnesville and the southwest
corner of the first of two lots held by Louise M. Overs, and proceeding north-
east along the eastern boundary the Louise M. and James H. Overs proper-
ties to the northeast corner; then northwest along the northern boundary of
the second lot to Md. Rte. 109; across said road to the property of Geo. V.
and D. M. Menke; northeast along said road to the juncture of said Menke
property and that of W. S. & J. S. Farr; following the boundary line be-
tween Menke and Farr northwest approximately 600 feet, then north app.
150 ft. to a corner then northwest along same boundary line app. 525 feet
to a juncture with boundary of H. D. Brown; south between the Menke
and Brown properties for app. 1200 feet; and continuing south app. 525
feet along the boundary between Peter T. Menke and John A. Hersberger,
to the present boundary of the Town.
