31 A. Refusal to pay fare.
Any person who boards a vehicle owned or controlled by the Mass
Transit Administration for the purpose of accepting transportation
must pay the correct fare for the same in the manner required and
any person who wilfully refuses to pay the proper charges when
required on the vehicle for such transportation AND WHO RE-
FUSES TO LEAVE THE VEHICLE shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to a fine
of not more than $50.00 $250.00 for each offense.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 3-5 of
the Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1969 Edition, being
Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Bal-
timore City," subtitle "Electrical Apparatus and Wiring," to
provide for the establishment and definition of a Master Electrician,
Restricted in Baltimore City.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 3-5 of the Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1969
Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land), title "Baltimore City," subtitle "Electrical Apparatus and
Wiring," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
3-5.
(a) The term Master Electrician, as used in this sub-title, shall
be defined as and including any and all persons, firms and corpora-
tions engaged in business of, or holding themselves out to the public
as engaged in the business of installing, erecting or repairing, or
contracting to install, erect or repair electric wires or conductors,
to be used for the transmission of electric current for electric
light, heat, or power purposes, or mouldings, ducts, raceways
or conduits for the reception or protection of such wires or con-
ductors, or to any electrical machinery, apparatus, devices or fixtures
to be used for electric light, heat or power purposes. A license of
"Master Electrician" issued and in accordance with the provisions
of this sub-title, shall entitle any such person, firm or corporation
so licensed to engage in the business of and to hold himself or
itself out to the public as engaged in the business of installing,
erecting and repairing and of contracting to install, erect and repair
any electric wires or conductors, etc.
(b) The term Master Electrician, Restricted, as used in this
sub-title, shall be defined as and including any and all persons, firms
and corporations engaged in business of , or holding themselves out
