days in the county jail, or both, in the discretion of the magistrate
or court. Where such act or omission is of a continuing nature
and is persisted in, in violation of the provisions of this article
or of any rule or regulation formulated thereunder, a conviction for
one offense shall not be a bar to a conviction for a continuation
of such offense subsequent to the first or any succeeding conviction.

(b) Enforcement by injunction. Upon application of the Wash-
ington Suburban Sanitary Commission, verified by oath or affirmation
of a member or employee thereof, the circuit court of any county,
sitting in equity, may, by injunction, enforce the compliance with,
or restrain the violation of, any order or notice, or rule or regulation,
of the commission made pursuant to the provisions of this article,
or restrain the violation or attempted violation of any of the provi-
sions of this article, or require the compliance with any of the pro-
visions of this article, by any person, firm or corporation or require
the entry of any employee or agent of the Commission WITHIN A
DESIGNATED AREA upon the private premises and into any
building in the sanitary district where the Commission shows a
violation of this Article.
The court shall not require the Commission
to post a bond. In the event the respondent in a petition for injunc-
tion pursuant to this subsection is a non-resident of the State of
Maryland, process by publication shall be effected pursuant to Rule
105 of the Maryland Rules of Procedure.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

CHAPTER 611
(House Bill 1314)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 92 (c) of
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement
Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Hours and Days
for Sale," to provide that the hours for sale of alcoholic beverages
in Anne Arundel County on the last Sunday of October in each
year shall be in accordance with Eastern Standard Time and re-
pealing certain authorities of the Anne Arundel County Board of
Liquor License Commissioners.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 92(c) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Replacement Volume), title "Alcoholic Beverages," sub-
title "Hours and Days for Sale," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

92.

(c) The hours established in this article for the sale of alcoholic
beverages in Anne Arundel County are hereby declared to be in
accordance with Eastern Standard Time [, or Daylight Savings
Time, whichever is established as the local law by the Board of County
