Supplement), title "Courts," subtitle "Municipal Court of Baltimore
City," and to repeal Section 3 of Chapter 518 of the Acts of 1971,
amending the laws concerning the retirement of certain judges,
with particular respect to the possibility of a former judge receiv-
ing benefits from more than one retirement system under certain
circumstances.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 125 (c) (1-7) of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1971 Supplement), title "Courts," subtitle "Municipal
Court of Baltimore City," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
125.
(e) (1-7) Any former judge who accepts any salaried public office
or position, municipal county, State or federal shall not be paid any
pension or salary so long as he remains in any such office or posi-
tion. Upon retirement from the other salaried public office or posi-
tion, the former judge is eligible to receive benefits from all public-
supported retirement systems in which he participated, but he may
not receive benefits under more than one pension system for the
same period of service.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 3 of Chapter 518
of the Acts of 1971 be and it is hereby repealed. , to read as follows:
[Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, 3. That any judge or widow
of a judge who becomes eligible for a pension under the provisions of
this Act and who is currently receiving a pension from a county or
Baltimore City shall not be entitled to receive a pension under the
provisions of this Act unless the pension from the county or Balti-
more City is reduced by an equivalent amount.]
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, the Section
402(a) which is to be effective July 1, 1972, of Article 81 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Supplement), title "Revenue
and Taxes," subtitle "Admissions and Amusement Tax," to exempt
certain activities and transactions from the imposition of the ad-
missions and amusement tax in certain counties. IN CALVERT
COUNTY.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 402(a) which is to be effective July 1, 1972, of Article
81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Supplement), title
"Revenue and Taxes," subtitle "Admissions and Amusement Tax,"
