"Real Estate Brokers," to follow immediately after Section 231
thereof, empowering the Real Estate Commission to seek an in-
junction if it feels irreparable harm will occur in the alleged con-
tinuing conduct in violation of this subtitle.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 231A be and it is hereby added to Article 56
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume
and 1971 Supplement 1972 REPLACEMENT VOLUME), title
"Licenses," subtitle "Real Estate Brokers," to follow immediately
after Section 231 thereof, and to read as follows:
231A.
The Commission, if it concludes that any continuing conduct
alleged to be in violation of this subtitle will result in irreparable
harm to any citizen of this State, may seek a permanent or temporary
injunction or other order with respect to the conduct from the
Circuit Court of Baltimore City or of any county, in which the
alleged violation is occurring, or in which the violator has its
principal place of business.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1972.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 224(t) of
Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement
Volume and 1971 Supplement 1972 REPLACEMENT VOLUME),
title "Licensing," subtitle "Real Estate Brokers," changing the
requirement that a person have guilty knowledge to simply
ACTUAL knowledge of a violation.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 224 (t) of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume and 1971 Supplement 1972 REPLACE-
MENT VOLUME), title "Licensing," subtitle "Real Estate Brokers,"
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
224.
(t) Any unlawful act or violation of any of the provisions of
this subtitle by any licensee, shall not be cause for the suspension
or revocation of a license of any licensee with whom the offender is
associated in any manner whatsoever, unless it shall appear to the
satisfaction of the Commission that the licensee or licensees with
whom the offender is associated had ACTUAL [guilty] knowledge
of [such] the violation or violations.
