under their hands, of the names, addresses and party affiliations, of
all persons registered in any precinct, for the sum of one-half cent
for each voter's name or the cost thereof, whichever is the lesser
amount. THE METHOD AND COST OF REPRODUCTION OF
THESE REGISTRATION LISTS SHALL BE DETERMINED
JOINTLY BY THE STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF
ELECTION LAWS AND THE BOARDS. Any such application
must be filed at least forty-five days prior to a primary election
and at least thirty days prior to a general election. It shall be
permissible for said board to use magnetic tapes or other electronic
reproductions or compilations of registration lists. Registration lists
shall be certified by the board as correct. Each application for a
registration list shall be accompanied by a statement, under oath,
by the individual filing said application, that the said list is not
intended to be used for purposes of commercial solicitation or other
business purposes. Any person who, knowingly, allows a registra-
tion list under his or her control to be used for commercial solicitation
or other business purposes shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
punished under the provisions of Sections SECTION 24-27 of this
article.
(b) The boards may also furnish a list of the names, addresses,
and party affiliations of all new registrants in any precinct in any
current year. for the sum of one-half cent for each voter's name on
the registry or the cost thereof, whichever is the lesser amount.
THE METHOD AND COST OF REPRODUCTION OF THESE

[ (c) In Prince George's County the board shall furnish to
anyone making written application therefor, within ten days after
such application has been received a certified copy, under their
hands, of the names, addresses and party affiliations, of all persons
registered in any precinct for the sum of one-half cent for each
voter's name or the cost thereof, whichever is the lesser amount.
Any such application must be filed at least forty-five days prior
to a primary election and at least thirty days prior to a general
election. It shall be permissible for said board to use magnetic
tapes or other electronic reproductions or compilations of registra-
tion lists, maintained by the data processing department of Prince
George's County, which electronically reproduced lists shall be cer-
tified by the board as correct. Each application for electronically
produced registration lists shall be accompanied by a statement,
under oath, by the individual filing said application that the said
list is not intended to be used for purposes of commercial solicitation
or other business purposes. Any person who, knowingly, allows an
electronically produced registration list under his or her control to
be used for commercial solicitation or other business purposes shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished under the provisions of
Sections 24-27 of this article.]
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on July JUNE 1, 1971.
