CHAPTER 387
(Senate Bill 704)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 357 of
Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1970 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Forests and
Parks," to increase the amount of money retained in The Forest
or Park Reserve Fund from moneys received for fines.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 357 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1970 Replacement Volume), title "Natural Resources," subtitle
"Forests and Parks," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

357.

All moneys received as penalties for violations of the provisions
of this subtitle, less the cost of collection and not otherwise provided
for, together with any moneys obtained from the State forest reserve,
State parks, scenic preserves, parkways, historic monuments and
recreation areas, shall be paid into a special fund in the State
treasury known as the Forest or Park Reserve Fund; out of said
funds there shall be paid each year to the county commissioners of
each county in which shall be located any part of the State forests
or parks reserves fifteen percent of the revenue derived from such
part of the State reserves as is located in that county. On July 1, 1969
and on July 1 of each year thereafter the balance of moneys in this
fund in excess of [fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00)] one hundred
and seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000.00) shall be paid over
to the general funds of the State.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 3-808 of
Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Vehicle Laws," subtitle "Certificates of Title
and Registration of Vehicles," subheading "Part VIII. Fees Con-
nected with Registration and Titling," to provide for a new class
of FPF Registration and Fees therefor.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 3-808 of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1970 Replacement Volume), title "Vehicle Laws," subtitle "Cer-
tificates of Title and Registration of Vehicles," subheading "Part
VIII. Fees Connected with Registration and Titling," be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
