whose certificate of registration has been so suspended or revoked,
may, on application to the Board and in the discretion of said Board,
have the same reissued to him or her upon satisfactory proof that the
disqualification has ceased. [Before the Board may institute any of
the above proceedings, it shall send a notice in writing to the certifi-
cate holder of any alleged violation of this subtitle or rules there-
under, together with a notice that if the violation is not abated within
five days the proceedings above outlined will be initiated.]

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

CHAPTER 163
(House Bill 786)

AN ACT to legalize the 1971 Edition of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Garrett County, being Article 12 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, published under the direction of the Board
of County Commissioners of Garrett County and also to legalize
any pocket supplements or loose-leaf supplements to this code
which are published under the direction of the Board of County
Commissioners of Garrett County and making provision for the
publication, sale, and distribution of this code and of supplements
thereto.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the 1971 Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Garrett
County, being Article 12 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, published under the direction of the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Garrett County and edited by Carl N. Everstine is legalized.
Also, any pocket or loose-leaf supplement to this code published
under the direction of the Board of County Commissioners of Garrett
County is legalized. The 1971 Code shall contain all public local laws
relating to Garrett County in effect after the 1971 Regular Session of
the General Assembly of Maryland and it shall contain the charters
of the several municipal corporations in Garrett County as in effect
on April 1, 1971. The code and any supplements thereto shall be
deemed and taken in all the courts of the State and by all judges of
the courts and by all other public officials of the State and of any of
its political subdivisions as evidence of the public local laws of Garrett
County in effect at the time of compilation.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Board of County
Commissioners of Garrett County is authorized to make an appro-
priation to provide for the publication of the 1971 Code and of any
supplements thereto; and the Board further is authorized to provide
for the distribution and sale of the 1971 Code and of any supplements
thereto.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.
