subtitle "Park and Planning Commission," these Codes being
respectively Articles 16 and 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, providing for the expansion in the use of the self-
insurance fund of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Plan-
ning Commission, in order that it may be used for certain im-
provements and facilities.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 70-15 of the Montgomery County Code, 1965, title
"Montgomery County," subtitle "Park and Planning Commission,"
being also Section 59-11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County, 1963 Edition and 1967 Supplement, title "Prince
George's County," subtitle "Park and Planning Commission," these
Codes being respectively Articles 16 and 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

70-15 (59-11).

The Commission has the right to exercise all powers and functions
granted to it in this subtitle. It has the right to use a common seal,
to sue and be sued and to do any and all other corporate acts for
the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this subtitle. It is
authorized to use park tax revenues to establish a Self-insurance
Fund to be used or expended thereafter only for the purpose of paying
for the costs of reconstructing, replacing or repairing buildings of
the Commission, or other improvements and facilities of the Commis-
sion, not including personal property,
damaged or destroyed by fire
and other contingencies. Such Fund shall be administered by the
Commission which shall have the authority to invest said Funds in
Federal, State or County bonds and any interest paying institution
whose deposits are regulated by the Federal Government provided
said institution shall provide collateral securities securing such de-
posits. The Commission is directed, however, to carry insurance on
any building having an insurable value to the extent that such value
exceeds the amount of Self-insurance Fund.

Sec. 2. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

CHAPTER 134
(House Bill 239)

AN ACT to add new Sections 27 through 33, inclusive, to Article
95C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Supplement),
title "Uniform Disposition of Unclaimed Property," to follow
immediately after Section 26 thereof and to be under the new
subtitle "Model Escheat of Postal Savings System Accounts," to
provide for the escheat of unclaimed Postal Savings System
accounts and matters generally relating thereto.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Sections 27 through 33, inclusive, be and they are hereby
