title "Licensing of Dealers, Wreckers and Scrap Processors and
Vehicle Salesmen," subheading "Part II. Wreckers and Scrap Proc-
essors," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, and to read as follows:

5-203.

(a) Every wrecker engaged in the business of purchasing or other-
wise acquiring vehicles for the purpose of scrapping, dismantling, or
destroying, shall notify the [Department] Administration of the
acquisition of such vehicles upon forms prescribed by the [Depart-
ment] Administration within [five (5) days] thirty (30) days of the
date of acquiring such vehicles.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

CHAPTER 93
(Senate Bill 523)

AN ACT to add new Section 52A to the Code of Public Local Laws
of Allegany County (1963 Edition, being Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Allegany County," sub-
title "County Commissioners," to follow immediately after Section
52 thereof, to permit the County Commissioners of Allegany
County to act as agents for the Queen City Bus Company in apply-
ing for funds from the United States Government for the purchase
of buses.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 52A be and it is hereby added to the Code of Public
Local Laws of Allegany County (1963 Edition, being Article 1 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Allegany County,"
subtitle "County Commissioners," to follow immediately after Section
52 thereof, and to read as follows:

52A.

(a)   The County Commissioners, acting as agents for the Queen
City Bus Company, are authorized to apply to the United States
Government for funds needed by the company to purchase buses.

(b)  Title to any buses purchased on application of the County
Commissioners shall be in those Commissioners and not in the Queen
City Bus Company.

(c)   The County Commissioners shall lease to the Queen City Bus
Company for its use any buses purchased with funds provided
by the United States Government.

(d)   The County Commissioners shall not use any County funds
for the benefit of the Queen City Bus Company, but shall act solely
to make the necessary applications for funds and to lease the buses
