set forth herein. Any bill not passed within ninety [sixty]-five days after
its introduction, or prior to November in a councilmanic election year, shall
fail.

Section 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That at the next
general election to be held in this State on November 3, 1970, the foregoing
section hereby proposed as an amendment to the Charter of Anne Arundel
County, shall be submitted to the legal and qualified voters of Anne Arundel
County for their adoption or rejection pursuant to Section 1202 of the
Charter of Anne Arundel County and at the said general election, the vote
on the said proposed amendments to the Charter shall be by ballot;
and upon each ballot there shall be printed the words "For the Charter
Amendment" and "Against the Charter Amendment". If a majority of
the votes cast in said election shall be in favor of the proposed amendment,
such amendment shall stand adopted from and after the thirtieth (30th)
day following said election; but if a majority of the votes cast in the election
shall be against the proposed amendment, then the provisions of this
ordinance shall be null and void and of no effect.

READ AND PASSED this 27th day of May, 1970.

An Ordinance to repeal Section 12-829 of the Anne Arundel Code
(1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 12, "Licenses, Permits and
Inspections", Subtitle 8, "Electrical", Article IV, "Permits" and to
enact new Section 12-829 in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the
section repealed, revising the fees for electrical permits.

Section 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Section 12-829 of the
Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 12,
"Licenses, Permits and Inspections", Subtitle 8, "Electrical", Article IV,
"Permits" is hereby repealed and new Section 12-829 is enacted in lieu
thereof, to stand in the place of the section repealed, to read as follows:

Section 12-829

Prior to issuance of any permit, the applicant therefor shall pay to
the County the following fees:

(1)    Rough Wiring

All switches, lighting, and receptacles to be counted as outlets.

1 to 10 outlets...........................................................................    $ 6.00

11 to 40 outlets...........................................................................       8.00

41 to 75 outlets............................................................................     10.00

For each additional 25 outlets or fraction thereof...............       1.50

(2) Fixtures

1 to 10 fixtures..........................................................................       6.00

11 to 40 fixtures........................................................................       8.00

41 to 75 fixtures .......................................................................     10.00

For each additional 25 fixtures or fraction thereof...............      1.50

(3)    Heating, Cooking Equipment and Similar Appliances

Outlet for single unit of 30 K.W. or less.................................. $ 6.00
