said sixty-five (65) day period, it is the intent of the County Council for
Anne Arundel County, Maryland to adopt Subtitle 3, "Zoning", in sections,
no section becoming effective until the complete subtitle is adopted.
Section 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, that new Sections 13-302
through 13-310.8, inclusive, be and they are hereby added to the Anne
Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and Supplements), Title 13, "Planning
and Zoning", Subtitle 3, "Zoning", to follow immediately after Section
13-301.1 thereof (as enacted by Bill No. 2-70), to be under the new Article
III, "Residential Districts", and to read as follows:
Article III, Residential Districts
General Provisions
Section 13-302—Lot Area Coverage
Notwithstanding the minimum lot requirements of this Article, a
residential dwelling may be constructed on any lot recorded prior to the
effective date of this Subtitle, provided all other requirements of this
Subtitle are met.
RA—Agricultural Residential Districts
Section 13-303—In General
RA—Agricultural Residential Districts shall be located in rural areas
not yet serviced by public water and public sewers.
Section 13-303.1—Uses Permitted
(a) The following uses shall be permitted in RA—Agricultural
Residential Districts:
(1) Accessory buildings and uses.
(2) Animal husbandry.
(3) Child care homes (less than six (6) children).
(4) CHURCHES AND ANCILLARY USES' (MINIMUM SITE OF
TWO (2) ACRES).
(4) (5) Cluster development, in accordance with the provisions of
Sections 13-307 through 13-307.7, inclusive.
(5) (6) Dairies.
(6) (7) Dwellings, one family detached.
(7) (8) Farm tenant houses.
(8) (9) Farming.
(9) (10) Fish and game hatcheries.
(10) (11) Forestry.
(11) (12) Fur farming (not less than fifty feet (50') from any lot line).
(12) (13) Golf courses.
(13) (14) Nursery farms (greenhouses).
(14) (15) Off-street parking, in accordance with the provisions of
Article VIII.
