of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended) to amend Section 20, entitled
"Registration, Nominations, and Elections" of the Charter of the
Town of Glenarden, said Section being Section 5-21 of subtitle 5 of
Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1963 Edi-
tion) which Article contains in whole or in part the Charter of the
Town of Glenarden Maryland, by repealing and re-enacting with
Amendment of said section 20 reducing the age requirement of
vote from (21) years old to (18) years old.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL of the Town of Glenarden
Maryland:
Section 1. That the Charter of said municipal corporation be and
the same hereby is amended by repealing Section 20 and re-enacting in lieu
thereof new Section 20 to read as follows:
"20. Voters (Registration, nominations, and Elections). Every per-
son who (a) is a citizen of the United States, (b) is at least [twenty-one]
eighteen years of age, (c) has resided in the state of Maryland for at least
one (1) year next preceding any town election, (d) has resided within the
corporate limits of the town for six months next preceding any town
election, and (e) is registered in accordance with the provisions of this
charter, is a qualified voter of the Town. Every qualified voter of the Town
is entitled to vote at all Town elections.

Resolution of the City of Greenbelt adopted pursuant to the author-
ity of Article HE of the Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of
Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition as
amended) title "Corporation-Municipal," subtitle, "Home Rule," to
amend the charter of the city of Greenbelt, said charter being Section
40 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1963
Edition) and containing in whole or in part the Charter of the City of
Greenbelt, by adding a new section, Section 40-11A, title "Same;
Codification," to provide for the codification or recodification of City
Ordinances and a procedure for the adoption of such codification or
recodification.
Section 1. BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDAINED by the Council of
the City of Greenbelt, Maryland that the Charter of the City of Greenbelt,
said Charter being Section 40 of Article 17 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1963 Edition) and containing in whole or in part the
Charter of the City of Greenbelt, Maryland, shall be amended by adding a
new section, Section 40-11A, title "Same; Codification," as follows:
