and Charlotte C. Hill, his wife, Richard W. Ortel and Anne Ortel, his wife,
pursuant to Section 19 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957); and
Whereas, The Town Council of Easton has vertified that the area pro-
posed to be annexed, pursuant to said Petition, is in fact contiguous and
adjacent to the existing corporate area; that no persons reside in the area
to be annexed and that Petitioners are the sole owners of the area to be
annexed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by The Mayor and Council
of Easton that enlargement of the corporate boundaries of the Town of
Easton be and it is hereby proposed that by annexation of the area com-
prised within the boundaries described below, the Town boundaries shall
be changed in accordance with the following description, which is attached
hereto; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by this
body with respect to said proposed annexation, such hearing to be held in
the office of the Mayor and Council of Easton, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on
Monday, October 19, 1970; provided that public notice of such hearing
shall first be given pursuant to the provisions of Section 19(d) of said
Article 23A; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in the event this Resolution
shall be finally enacted following said Public Hearing, then this Resolution
and the annexation hereby proposed shall become effective forty-five (45)
days following such final enactment.

TAKE NOTICE: That on September 21, 1970, a Resolution was in-
troduced to the Council of Easton on the Petition of Robert W. Trever and
Margaret Trever, his wife, A. R. Marvel, David Hill, Charlotte C. Hill,
his wife and Richard W. Ortel and Anne Ortel, his wife, proposing enlarge-
ment of the corporate boundaries of the Town of Easton by annexation
thereto of certain lands adjacent and contiguous to the corporate bound-
aries of the Town of Easton in the vicinity of the Northwest corner of
Dutchman's Lane and Route 50.
