[(d) Commissions. The Commissioners may allow such commission
or sum to the collector for collecting taxes as they may deem right and
proper, and on the amount of sales of any personal property, the collector
shall be entitled to charge a commission of ten per centum on amount of
taxes the property is sold for.]

(e) Enforcement. In addition to the remedy above provided for the
enforcement of taxes so levied, the [collector] CLERK-TREASURER
may, in the name of "The Commissioners of Delmar," by suit and execu-
tion, enforce the payment and collection of taxes on personal property in
the manner and to the same extent as debts due and owing individuals are
now or hereafter may be collected by process of law, and these provisions
shall apply to all taxes now levied and uncollected, and the same be collected
as herein provided.

Section 2. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED AND ORDAINED
by the Commissioners of Delmar that this Charter Amendment shall take
effect fifty (50) days from the date of the passage thereof.

Resolution of the Commissioners of Denton, Maryland, adopted
pursuant to the authority of Article HE of the Constitution of Mary-
land and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition, as amended) title "Corporations—Municipal," to
amend the Charter of the Commissioners of Denton by amending
Section 143 of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(being also Section 69 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Caroline
County, 1965 Edition), providing the Commissioners of Denton with
power and authority, whenever they deem it necessary, to borrow
money on the faith and credit of said town, by note or otherwise, but
limiting the indebtedness thus created (exclusive of such additional
bond indebtedness as may be authorized) to a sum not exceeding
Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) and to amend said section so as
to change the limitation on the borrowing power of said Commission-
ers of Denton to the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars
($150,000.00).

Section 1. Be It Resolved by the Commissioners of Denton that the
Charter of the said Municipal Corporation be and the same is hereby
amended by striking out of Section 143 of Article 6 of the Code of Public
Laws of Maryland (also being Section 69 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Caroline County, 1965 Edition) the words and figures Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($50,000.00) and to substitute therefor the words and figures One
Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) and to read as follows:
