District Courts, and submitting these amendments to the
qualified voters of the State for adoption or rejection.

and it is hereby certified that at said election 313,098 votes
were cast for the adoption of said Chapter 789 and 220,661 votes
were cast against the adoption of said Chapter 789, the said Chapter
789 of the Acts of 1969 has therefore been ratified by the qualified
voters of the State of Maryland.

Given Under My Hand and the Seal of the State Administra-
tive Board of Election Laws of the State of Maryland,
Done at the City of Annapolis, this 30th day of
November, in the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand,
Nine Hundred and Seventy.
