(b) Any person violating the provisions of this section shall,
upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not less than five
hundred dollars ($500.00) nor more than twenty-five hundred dol-
lars ($2,500.00), providing further that each day such offense- con-
tinues shall be a separate violation of this Section and subject to
penalties thereof.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

CHAPTER 793
(House Bill 1304)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 1.00 of
Article 66B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Zoning and Planning"; Sections 2.05(a) and
(d), and 2.06(a) of the same Article and title, subtitle "Zoning in
Baltimore City"; Section 3.05 (b) of the same Article and title,
subtitle "Planning Commission Generally"; Sections 4.01(b), 4.05
4.05(C), 4.06(a), 4.07(c), (d) and (h), 4.08(a) and (d) of the same
Article and title, subtitle "General Development Regulations and
Zoning"; Section 5.03(a) and 5.07 of the same Article and title,
subtitle "Subdivision Control"; Section 6.02 of the same Article and
title, subtitle "Development in Mapped Streets"; Sections 7.02 and
7.05 of the same Article and title "subtitle "General Provisions" ;
Sections 8.01(a), 8.02, 8.07, 8.10, 8.13 and 8.15 of the same Article
and title, subtitle "Historic Area Zoning," to correct certain erro-
neous references and language therein.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 1.00 of Article 66B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1970 Replacement Volume), title "Zoning and Planning"; Sections
2.05(a) and (d) and 2.06(a) of the same Article and title, subtitle
"Zoning in Baltimore City"; Section 3.05(b) of the same Article and
title, subtitle "Planning Commission Generally"; Sections 4.01 (b),
4.05(c), 4.06(a), 4.07(c), (d) and (h), 4.08(a) and (d) of the same
Article and title, subtitle "General Development Regulations and
Zoning"; Section 5.03(a) and 5.07 of the same Article and title,
subtitle "Subdivision Control"; Section 6.02 of the same Article and
title, subtitle "Development in Mapped Streets"; Sections 7.02 and
7.05 of the same Article and title, subtitle "General Provisions";
and Sections 8.01(a), 8.02, 8.07, 8.10, 8.13 and 8.15 of the same
Article and title, subtitle "Historic Area Zoning," be and they are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and all to read as
follows:

1.00. Definitions.

As used in this article, except where the context clearly indicates
otherwise:
