(b) (2) Provided, however, that in Prince George's County,
no person under twenty-one years of age shall be employed to sell
any alcoholic beverages on sale by any holder of an alcoholic bev-
erage license that permits on-sale privileges and no person under
the age of eighteen shall be employed for the sale of alcoholic bev-
erages in any other licensed establishment. This section shall not
prohibit the employment of anyone under the aforementioned pro-
hibited age by the holder of such a license or in said establishments
for any purpose except the sale of alcoholic beverages. No person
under [twenty-one] eighteen years of age shall sell, deliver or other-
wise deal with alcoholic beverages in any Class D licensed establish-
ment and no person under the age of eighteen years of age shall
sell, deliver or otherwise deal with alcoholic beverages in any other
licensed establishment in said county.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

CHAPTER 721
(House Bill 790)
AN ACT to repeal Section 21A of Article 83 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume), title "Sales and Notices,"
subtitle "Consumer Protection," and to enact new Section 21A in
lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the section repealed, eliminat-
ing the provision that the receipt of unsolicited merchandise is a
defense to an action for the return of or payment for such merchan-
dise; providing that where an offer for the sale of goods, wares,
or merchandise includes the unsolicited sending of any goods,
wares, or merchandise, the receipt of such shall be deemed an
unconditional gift thereof to the recipient; providing a remedy for
such recipient if the sender of such goods, wares, or merchandise
continues to bill therefor; making similar provisions for situations
in which a member of an organization which makes retail sales
of such goods, wares, or merchandise to its members cancels his
membership in such organization, and providing that this section
does not relieve a recipient, who has canceled his membership, for
any other damages for breach of contract.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 21A of Article 83 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1969 Replacement Volume), title "Sales and Notices," subtitle
"Consumer Protection," be and it is hereby repealed and that new
Section 21A be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in
place of the section so repealed and to read as follows:

[(a) In any action for the return of merchandise or for payment
for said merchandise, it is a complete defense that the merchandise
