hours as, the State primary GENERAL election on the third Tues-
day in May
IN NOVEMBER, 1972, in Washington County. The
ballot labels for this referendum shall have positions separate
from those used for the State primary election; and if ballots
are used, they shall be completely separate and distinct from
those provided for the primary elections. There shall be printed
on the ballots or ballot labels to be used at the special elec-
tion a full or an abbreviated version of the title of this Act and
underneath or opposite the title, a square or box with the words
"For Elected School Board," and a corresponding square or box
with the words "Against Elected School Board," so that any qualified
voter of the county may designate his vote for or against the pro-
visions of this Act. If a majority of the votes cast on this question
in the special election are cast "For Elected School Board," the
provisions of this Act shall become effective immediately. If a
majority of the votes cast on this question in the special election
are "Against Elected School Board," the provisions of this Act are
of no further effect and void.

Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That subject to the provisions of
Section 2 hereinabove this Act shall take effect on July 1, 1971.

CHAPTER 699
(House Bill 484)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 19 (i)
(3) and 19 (i) (4) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1968 Replacement Volume and 1970 Supplement), title
"Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor Li-
censes," to modify the sale of food requirements for the issuance
of Sunday Permits in Prince George's County and to clarify the
law pertaining to Sunday sales from the bar and/or a cocktail
lounge of a Class BH License in Prince George's County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 19(i)(3) and Section 19(i)(4) of Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1970
Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer, Wine and
Liquor Licenses," be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, and to read as follows:

19.

(3) In Prince George's County there shall be, in addition to the
classes herein provided, a special Class B license known as Class
BH, which shall be issued only to hotels, and for the purpose of this
section "hotel" shall mean an establishment recognized as a hotel
for the accommodation of the public providing services ordinarily
found in hotels, equipped with not less than one hundred bed-
rooms, a ballroom with not less than 2,000 square feet, a lobby with
registration and mail desk and seating facilities and a dining room
