references to The Commission on Aging. All references to the State
Coordinating Commission on Problems of the Aging in the books
of account, rules, regulations, papers, documents of this State, of
its several departments and agencies, and of its several political
subdivisions and their departments and agencies are changed to be
references to The Commission on Aging.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That all assets, books, papers,
files, records, furniture, fixtures, and all other personal property-
owned by or in the custody, as of June 30, 1971, of the State Co-
ordinating Commission on Problems of the Aging shall be trans-
ferred to and be in the ownership or custody of The Commission on
Aging.
Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That all appropriations and
credits on the books, papers and accounts of any department or other
agency of this State, as of June 30, 1971, for and to the credit of
State Coordinating Commission on Problems of the Aging, and all
liabilities and obligations as of June 30, 1971, of the State Coor-
dinating Commission on Problems of the Aging shall be transferred
to and become the appropriations, credits, liabilities and obligations
of The Commission on Aging.
Sec. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 4(a)
of Article 88C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Re-
placement Volume), title "State Planning," providing that the
State Planning Commission shall consist of nine members; pro-
viding for the method of appointment and correcting errors
therein.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 4(a) of Article 88C of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1969 Replacement Volume), title "State Planning," be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

(a) State Planning Commission; Chairman of; appointment to—
There shall be a State Planning Commission within the Department
of State Planning, which shall constitute an advisory Board for
the Department of State Planning. The State Planning Commission
shall consist of [seven] nine members, seven of whom shall be
appointed by the [Secretary of State Planning] Governor, of whom
none shall be persons holding a salaried State office, selected, as
