Class B or C, beer licensee to sell beer and a Class B or C, beer, wine,
and liquor licensee to sell beer, wine and liquor, provided that these
alcoholic beverages are consumed on the premises in the course of a
meal.

In Somerset County, notwithstanding any provisions of this article
to the contrary, licensees shall be entitled to sell alcoholic beverages,
as authorized by their licenses, between the hours of 8 o'clock a.m.
on any day and 2 o'clock a.m. 11 O'CLOCK P.M. on the following
SAME 2 O'CLOCK A.M. ON THE FOLLOWING day. [, except
that] However, no sales of alcoholic beverages shall be made or
alcoholic beverages consumed on licensed premises between the hours
of 2 o'clock a.m., on Sundays and 8 o'clock a.m. on the following
Monday except for holders of Class B (on-sale) beer, wine, and
liquor licenses and Class C (on-sale) beer, wine and liquor licenses.
Those licensees may be open between 1 o'clock p.m. on Sunday to
2 o'clock a.m. ON the following Monday. 11 O'CLOCK P.M. OF THE
SAME DAY HOLDERS OF THE CLASS B (ON-SALE) BEER,
WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSES AND CLASS C (ON-SALE)
BEER, WINE, AND LIQUOR LICENSES SHALL BE ENTITLED
TO SELL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, FOR CONSUMPTION ON
THEIR PREMISES, AS AUTHORIZED BY THEIR LICENSES,
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 1 O'CLOCK P.M. AND 11 12:30
O'CLOCK P.M. AND 10 O'CLOCK P.M. ON SUNDAYS PRO-
VIDED THAT UNDER ALL SUCH SUNDAY LICENSES THE
SALE OR DISPOSAL OF SUCH ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL
BE PERMITTED ONLY IF FOOD IS AVAILABLE FOR PUR-
CHASE ON THE PREMISES.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1971.

(House Bill 450)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 194(j)
of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement
Volume), title "Licenses," subtitle "Dog Licenses in the Counties,"
to provide for penalties for violations of the rules and regulations
of the Worcester County Dog Ordinance.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 194(j) of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1968 Replacement Volume), title "Licenses," subtitle "Dog Licenses
in the Counties," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

(1) The county commissioners of Caroline and Worcester
counties are hereby authorized and empowered, in order to safeguard
