(f) Disclosure of Contents of Records or Papers.—The contents
of any records or papers used by the jury commissioner or clerk
in connection with the jury selection process shall not be disclosed,
except as may be necessary in the preparation or presentation of a
motion under subsection (a), (b), or (c) of this section, until after
the master jury wheel has been emptied and refilled pursuant to
Section 4 (b) [(iv)] (iii) of this article and all persons selected to
serve as jurors before the master wheel was emptied have completed
such service. The parties in a case shall be allowed to inspect, repro-
duce, and copy such records or papers at all reasonable times during
the preparation and pendency of the motion. Any person who dis-
closes the contents of any record or paper in violation of this sub-
section may be fined not more than $1,000 or imprisoned not more
than one year, or both.

After the master jury wheel is emptied and refilled pursuant to
Section 4 (b) [(iv)] [iii] of this article, and after all persons
selected to serve as jurors before the master wheel has been emptied
have completed such service, all records and papers compiled and
maintained by the jury commissioner or clerk before the master
wheel was emptied shall be preserved in the custody of the clerk for
four years or for such longer period as may be ordered by a court.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

CHAPTER 8
(Senate Bill 163)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 6 of
Article 96½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Supple-
ment), title "Veterans," subtitle "Relief Fund," amending the
veteran laws of this State in order to make certain corrections
in the language and references thereof.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 6 of Article 96½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1969 Supplement), title "Veterans," subtitle "Relief Fund," be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

The Maryland [Veteran's] Veterans Commission shall appoint
an officer who shall be known as the State Service and Executive
Officer and who shall be a member of the merit system for State
employees, and such other employees as may be provided for in the
budget. The Commission shall administer and disburse such direct
