such institutions to furnish; provided, however, that this require-
ment to purchase their said needs of the Department of [Correc-
tion] Correctional Services does not apply to any State-aided, man-
aged, or controlled public or semipublic institution which does not
receive at least fifty percent of the funds for its upkeep (exclusive
of receipts from its patrons) from the State of Maryland and/or
some political subdivision or subdivisions thereof. It is the duty of
the Department of [Correction] Correctional Services in the exer-
cise of the powers hereinbefore contained to diversify its industries
in such a manner as not to work a hardship on any one particular
free industry.
6A.
The State and all State-aided, owned, controlled, or managed pub-
lic or quasi-public institutions and agencies shall purchase from the
Workshop for the Blind those products and/or services not supplied
by the Department of Correctional Services. The Workshop shall
send a list of products and services supplied by it to the Secretary
of the Department of Budget and Fiscal Planning, and to all persons
responsible for purchasing for the above mentioned institutions.
This list of products and services shall be revised semiannually.
The price of products purchased from the Workshop shall be set
by the Pricing Committee for the Workshop for the Blind.
6B.
There shall be a Pricing Committee for the Workshop for the
Blind. The Committee is composed of four persons: the Executive
Vice-President of the Workshop or his designee; a member of the
Executive Board, or designee of the Free State Federation of the
Blind, appointed by that Board; the Commissioner of Correctional
Services or his designee; and the Secretary of Budget and Fiscal
Planning or his designee. The Committee shall set the prices of all
products sold by the Workshop. These prices shall be fixed so as
to reflect the fair market price for the product. The members shall
serve without compensation and shall receive assistance from the
staff of the Workshop.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 167A
of Article 66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1967 Re-
placement Volume and 1969 Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles,"
subtitle "Unsatisfied Claim and Judgment Fund," to provide a
remedy for qualified persons who suffer damage to property in
cases of uninsured motorists whose whereabouts cannot be as-
certained.
