fide membership of not less than fifteen (15) persons and dues of not
less than five dollars ($5.00) per annum per person, which organiza-
tion or club operates solely for the use of its own members and their
guests when accompanied by such members, and meets in a club-
house principally used for no other purpose; and (3) any lodge or
chapter of any bona fide nonprofit and nationwide fraternal or serv-
ice organization composed of members duly elected and initiated in
accordance with the rites and customs of such fraternal or service
organization, in existence and operating in Worcester County for a
period of not less than five (5) years prior to the time of making
application for such a license, and having a bona fide membership of
not less than forty (40) persons and dues of not less than five dollars
($5.00) per annum per member, and owning or operating a home or
clubhouse principally for the use of its members and their guests
when accompanied by such members, and not directly or indirectly
owned or operated as a public business. Upon payment of said
license fee, any such club, veterans' or fraternal organization may
obtain such a license from the board of license commissioners of
Worcester County. Every such club, veterans' or fraternal organiza-
tion shall purchase all wines and liquors sold by them from the
Worcester County liquor control board dispensaries.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

(House Bill 1434)
AN ACT to add new Section 68(m) to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1969 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages,"
subtitle "Renewal of Licenses," to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 68(1) thereof, amending the alcoholic beverage laws concern-
ing certain requirements for the renewal of alcoholic beverage
licenses in Baltimore County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 68(m) be and it is hereby added to Article 2B of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Supplement), title "Alcoholic
Beverages," subtitle "Renewal of Licenses," to follow immediately
after Section 68(1) thereof, to read as follows:
68.
(m) In Baltimore County, unless a licensee presents to the board
of liquor license commissioners by June 30 of the respective year, a
certificate issued by the bureau of assessments, showing that there
are no unpaid taxes on the merchandise, fixtures and stock of the
applicant due to Baltimore County or the State of Maryland, his
renewal license shall be immediately suspended without a hearing
but thereafter shall be immediately returned without a hearing upon
presentation of such a certificate.
