fied voters present at such meeting. Any such bylaws after once
being adopted shall subsequently be subject to amendment, modifi-
cation or repeal at any annual meeting or special meeting of the
parish or congregation in the same manner. Ten days' notice
in the manner above provided for the annual meeting shall be given
for any such special meeting of the parish or congregation with
statement of the particular purpose of the meeting. This provision
for greater flexibility in the administration of the secular affairs of
such parish or separate congregation, shall be an alternate authority
and shall be exercised only after the congregation or parish shall
first by resolution have adopted and declared its intention of avail-
ing itself of the provisions thereof. If and when such alternate
method of electing vestries is adopted by any parish or separate
congregation, the particular plan of procedure with regard thereto
shall be recorded in the official register of the parish and be open
to inspection at all reasonable times by any member of the parish or
congregation.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

CHAPTER 210
(House Bill 1096)

AN ACT TO PROVIDE for the establishment of the Upper Poco-
moke Sound portion of the Maryland-Virginia boundary line.

Whereas, by virtue of Chapter 357 of the Maryland Laws of
1969, the Maryland Geological Survey was authorized to undertake
with the Maritime Resources Commission of the State of Virginia,
the establishment, marking and identification of the seven mile por-
tion of the Maryland-Virginia boundary line in Upper Pocomoke
Sound; and

Whereas, pursuant to said Act the said Maryland Geological Sur-
vey and the Marine Resources Commission of the Commonwealth
of Virginia have agreed upon said boundary line ;

Whereas, the Maryland Geological Survey and the Marine Re-
sources Commission of the Commonwealth of Virginia have report-
ed their metes and bounds description of said line to the Governors
of the two States respectively and each Governor has approved said
boundary line;

NOW, THEREFORE,

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Maryland-Virginia boundary line in the approximately
seven miles in the Upper Pocomoke Sound in Worcester County,
Maryland, and Accomack County, Virginia, be and it is hereby de-
scribed as follows:
