A CONSUMER TWENTY-ONE (21) YEARS OF AGE
OR OVER SHALL BE PERMITTED TO BRING INTO THE
STATE OF MARYLAND IN HIS POSSESSION, FOR HIS PER-
SONAL USE ONLY, ONE (1) GALLON OF ALCOHOLIC BEV-
ERAGES FREE OF ANY TAX IMPOSED UNDER THE PRO-
VISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE IF PURCHASED IN THE VIRGIN
ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES, AMERICAN SAMOA, OR
GUAM; or

(iv) Tourists who are twenty one years of age or more arriving
at the Port of Baltimore or Friendship International Airport from

any international location other than the Virgin Island of the

United States, American Samoa, or Guam may enter one quart of

alcoholic beverages free of duty and tax. Tourists arriving at the
Port of Baltimore or Friendship International Airport shall pay
required State alcoholic beverage taxes at the point of debarkation
on any alcoholic beverages in excess of the amounts specified in this

paragraph.

A CONSUMER TWENTY-ONE (21) YEARS OF AGE OR OVER
SHALL BE PERMITTED TO BRING INTO THE STATE OF
MARYLAND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN HIS POSSESSION
FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY, NOT IN EXCESS OF ONE GAL-
LON PURCHASED OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL LIMITS OF
THE UNITED STATES. HE SHALL MAKE APPLICATION ON
FORMS PRESCRIBED BY THE COMPTROLLER AND PAY THE
TAXES DUE ON ANY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES NOT DESIG-
NATED TAX-EXEMPT BY THIS SECTION.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

CHAPTER 153
(House Bill 80)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 112(1) (h)
of Article 21 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Supple-
ment), title "Conveyancing," subtitle "Land Installment Con-
tracts," providing the interest rate which is allowed for a land
installment contract shall be identical with that interest rate which
is allowed in other real estate mortgages.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 112(1) (h) of Article 21 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1969 Supplement), title "Conveyancing," subtitle "Land Install-
ment Contracts," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
