AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 32CA of
Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1966 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Courts," subtitle "Circuit Court for the
Counties—Court Stenographer," to provide an additional circuit
court judge for Anne Arundel County.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 32CA of Article 26 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1966 Replacement Volume), title "Courts," subtitle "Circuit
Court for the Counties—Court Stenographer," be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
32CA.
In addition to the [four] five Circuit Court judges for Anne Arun-
del County, for which provision now is made, there shall be one
additional judge who shall also be a resident of the county. The
judges so provided for the county shall reside therein, shall be
selected in accordance with the provisions of Section 5, Article IV
of the Constitution of Maryland, and shall be subject to all the
provisions of the Constitution and laws relating to the fifth judicial
circuit and the several judges thereof.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1970.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 5 of
Article 44A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Housing Authorities," subtitle "In General,"
to provide that in Baltimore City an employee of the Department
of Housing and Community Development or of any city agency
succeeding to its functions may serve as a member of the com-
mission.
